Something Wicked This Way Comes!
“LOSER: ParentsAnyone looking to take an all-ages family to the movies this summer was out of luck. With no Pixar movie to look forward to, parents of young children could choose from ‘Planes: Fire and Rescue,’ ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2' (pictured), and… that’s it. Unfortunately, the domination of the PG-13 rating meant that potentially kid-friendly films like ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ were off-limits for a lot of families.”Just an FYI… How to Train Your Dragon 2, the movie that you think is aimed at “young children” had a more sophisticated storyline and fully realized characters than both of the “PG-13” movies.Pixar isn’t the only studio that can produce quality movies for all ages. Just because a movie isn’t doing too well at the box office, doesn’t mean that it’s quality is lesser than the others.I’ve seen almost all of the sumer 2014 movies, and this “young children” movie is probably the most mature of them all.So please go see the movie before you judge it.

have a shitty comic filled with all my emotion
This is my little sister, Emily. She’s 12 years old to my 20. I have taken her to see several movies, and at every one of them I have bawled like a baby. This time, while I’m wiping the tears from my eyes, I hear a sniffle from my left. When I look over, my adorable (though secretly really fucking evil) baby sister is sobbing. Overwhelmed by emotions from the movie, I hug her as best I can with the armrests between us. I can feel her shoulders shaking because she’s trying so hard not to cry too loud in the theater and - I almost feel bad to admit this - I just want to laugh. Here is the kid who would look at me like I was some kind of moron because I would sob at movies like The Last Song, or The Croods, or Rise of the Guardians and now here she is, taking a step in my shoes! Isn’t it just a movie!? (She would say this to me to try and get me to stop crying.) But then I start to cry again because I’m such a big baby. The movie ends and we leave. She’s stopped crying, but her face is white and her eyes are big and this kid looks like I’ve fucking traumatized her. We saw How to Train Your Dragon 2 and my sister acts like I took her to watch a live satanic worshipping ritual. She’s currently sobbing uncontrollably into my pillows about how much she hates me for taking her to a movie with “so many emotions she just can’t.” And I can’t stop laughing.
On The Spot
Hey Dragons fans! Guess what! There will be Dragons this XMAS! Just found this on Hallmark’s website. A new Toothless/Hiccup ornament is going to be released in October for the winter season! (I know I’m super early with this one ^_^ I can’t help myself at this point)
Just thought I’d let ya’ll know (I missed the one released in 2010 ;_;) so everyone can add a little dragon to their tree. (or in my case, anywhere it might fit in!)
From the web site:
"Hiccup and Toothless have taken to the skies, only to discover brand new threats to their now peaceful existence. Hang this unlikely duo high up on your tree to show your love of the "How To Train Your Dragon 2", as well as your longing for adventure—and the mysteries that often come with it."
specs: 3.44” W x 2.5” H x 3.68” D
I kinda want a stoick ornament too ;_;
